Namur-Luxembourg, September 17, 2019 – Pharmony, the Belgian start-up specialized in the development of pharmaceutical software, announces today a successful capital increase of the international company Swisslog Healthcare. In 2016, Pharmony launched the innovative “Pharmony One” software, which fully manages pharmacies in the cloud, enabling them to enter the digital age. Thanks to this fund raising, Pharmony continues to make progress in Belgium and strengthens its market position.
The needs of pharmacies have evolved and now aim to increase efficiency in terms of services and costs. With its pharmacy distribution and management software, Pharmony One, the company offers an exclusive and innovative tool which, thanks to its flexibility and security, meets the challenges of tomorrow’s pharmacy: immediate availability, collaboration and above all interactivity.
Cloud-connected pharmacies
To use Pharmony One, an Internet connection and a traditional computer installation are sufficient, as the software is accessible via the Cloud. The software offers customised solutions that can be adapted to any pharmacy. It is accessible 24/7 via PC or Mac, tablets and smartphone. From now on, ordering, stock management, choice of the best products for the customer, group purchasing and economies of scale on order volumes are possible thanks to a single, 100% reliable instrument offering the best guarantees in terms of security (protection of pharmacists’ and patients’ personal data, piracy …). Pharmony now has more than 50 pharmacies in Flanders and Wallonia using the software.
Administrative simplification for pharmacists
Pharmony One also makes it possible to directly connect pharmacies in the same group or chain without the intervention of expensive servers or, by simple invitation, to include a non-affiliated pharmacy that wishes to benefit from certain services or competitive prices thanks to group purchases.
